Cook Time: 30 minutes

Servings: 8

  • Tart tin

  • ½ cup vegan butter
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 cups gluten free plain flour
  • 4 tablespoon water

Brownie Filling

  • 2 Fine & Raw Sea Salt Chocolate Bars
  • ½ cup vegan butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup plant-based milk
  • 1 ¼ cup gluten-free plain flour
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • ⅓ cup chopped pecans

Chocolate Glaze

  1. Begin by preheating the oven to 180℃/356℉ and grease and flour your tart tin and set aside.
  2. Start by making the pastry, to do this rub together the butter, sugar and flour together until it reaches a crumb consistency.
  3. Next add the water a bit at a time, mixing after each addition until it comes together into a dough.
  4. Roll the dough out onto a floured surface or in between 2 sheets of plastic wrap to prevent the dough sticking to the surface.
  5. Once the dough is rolled out to the size of your tart tin, roll the pastry over the rolling pin and carry it over the tart tin [make sure to remove the plastic wrap before doing this]
  6. Press the pastry into the tin, if you have any tears just patch them up with the remaining pastry.
  7. Remove the excess pastry with a knife, around the tin and set it aside in the fridge while you make the brownie filling. [this will help prevent the pastry from shrinking as it bakes]

Brownie filling

  1. Heat together the chocolate, milk, butter and sugar in a pan on medium heat until the ingredients have completely melted.
  2. Next add the flour, cocoa powder and chopped pecans and mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter onto the tart shell and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.

Chocolate glaze

  1. As the tart cools, make the chocolate glaze by heating together the chocolate, milk and hazelnut spread in the microwave for 30 second intervals until melted.
  2. Pour the glaze over the tart and sprinkle with chopped pecans
  3. All that's left to do now is to slice and enjoy!
