How long will my order take to ship?
We try to ship orders the day they come in whenever possible -- but please bear in mind it may take 2-3 business days to process your order for ground shipping.
There may also be additional COVID-related delays with UPS/USPS/FedEx.
How much does shipping cost?
- $9.75 – Ground Shipping (not available to certain states with long transit times and warm weather at destination)
- $20 – 2-Day Shipping (see more details below)
- $40 – Overnight Shipping (see more details below)
- $0 - Curbside pickup @ our chocolate Brooklyn chocolate factory.
How do I get free shipping?
It's easy! Just create an order over $35. That's three spreads... or four chocolate bars... yum...
If you live in FL or HI, your cart won't reflect free shipping after reaching the $35 threshold. Don't fear or fret! Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get back to you ASAP :)
How do I get free shipping?
Gift notes can be added when you are in the Cart - this is before Checkout. You can navigate to the Cart using the main menu. We don't add receipts to any orders!
How do you ensure my chocolate won't melt?
We ice-insulate all orders traveling to destination locations with temperatures above 75 degrees. Because insulation lasts a maximum of two days, we only fulfill orders requiring ice Monday-Wednesday of each week.
As the weather gets warmer and demand for delicious chocolate increases, this can sometimes lead to a back-up in iced orders and a subsequent delay in the amount of time it takes for order fulfillment.
If your order has taken a lil longer to arrive than you'd like, don't fret. Send us an email at email@example.com and we'll get it sorted out ASAP :)
To ensure your chocolate stays in tip-top shape, it’s best that someone is at the delivery address to accept your order when it is delivered. If not, make sure the shipping carrier can leave your order in a cool, dry place.
I need my chocolate ASAP! What are my options?
Listen - we get it. Sometimes you need choko now. We offer expedited shipping options (Overnight and 2-Day) for chocolate orders year round.
Expedited orders placed before 8:00 a.m. will be shipped out the day they're ordered. Orders placed after 8:00 a.m. will be fulfilled the next business day.
Help! I ordered with expedited shipping and my order isn't here!! Who should I talk to?
Don't worry - we've got you. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get it sorted out ASAP.
Ground Shipping times from Brooklyn
We cannot ship orders to PO Boxes - please be sure to provide a full address, including as much detail (eg, Apartment #, Suite, etc) as possible.

If you'd like an order to be shipped on a specific future date rather than when we receive it, please let us know in the Note/Special Instructions field when you order.
Saturday delivery for shipped orders:
If you require Saturday delivery please let us know. There might be a surcharge depending on residential area - we will email you with more info if necessary.
UPS and USPS don’t pickup or deliver on National Holidays.
Shipping to Hawaii:
We can use only expedited shipping to Hawaii, which may entail an additional charge. If you place an order to Hawaii, we will email you to approve these costs before shipping your order.
Shipping to Alaska:
Might incur a surcharge - we will email you with more info if necessary.
Shipping to Canada:

Delays with shipping carriers and incorrect addresses:
Please note that we are not responsible for delays caused by UPS/USPS nor are we responsible for incorrect addresses. Fees incurred due to incorrect addresses will be billed to the buyer. As a food producer, we do not accept returns.
