Chocolate Shipping Info
Free ground shipping on domestic orders over $35 (excluding AR, FL, HI, NM)
If your order only contains Chocolate Hazelnut Butter spread and/or Sweet Hazelnut Butter spread then we can ship your order ground year round. If your order only contains our spreads and you don’t see ground shipping as an option then please let us know and we’ll send you a ground shipping option.
We try to ship orders the day they come in whenever possible, but please bear in mind that it may take 2-3 business days to process your order for shipping - and there maybe added COVID related delays.
Shipping Costs - Flat Rate
$10 – Ground Shipping (not available to certain states with long transit times and warm weather at destination)
$20 – 2-Day Shipping
$40 – Overnight Shipping
$0 - Curbside pickup @ our chocolate Brooklyn chocolate factory (only available in Brooklyn)
For warm destinations, we ship only Mon-Wed during the warmer months, in order that packages don’t sit in shipping hubs over the weekend. Overnight orders can ship on Thur too.
We will add complementary cooling materials to warm destinations.
During warmer months (above 74 degrees) if your chocolate is in transit longer USPS ground transit 2 day zone, then we’ll get in touch with you to upgrade your shipping option to make sure your chocolate gets to you in tip top condition.
To ensure your chocolate stays in tip-top shape, it’s best that someone is at the delivery address to accept your order when it is delivered. If not, make sure the shipping carrier can leave your order in a cool, dry place.
Overnight orders placed by 11:00 a.m. will be shipped day of ordering.
Orders placed after 11am Thur will ship Monday if there’s warm weather on the transit route.
2-Day shipping orders placed by 11:00 a.m. will be shipped day of ordering.
Orders placed after 11am Wed will ship Monday if there’s warm weather on the transit route.
We cannot ship orders to PO Boxes - please be sure to provide a full address, including as much detail (eg, Apartment #, Suite, etc) as possible.
Gifts: Notes & Receipts
If you want a gift note included in your order, use our Gifts field when you check out.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOU NAME IN THE NOTE.
If you choose the Gift option, we will not include a receipt with the order.
Want us to ship at a later date for you?
If you'd like an order to be shipped on a specific future date rather than when we receive it, please let us know in the Note/Special Instructions field when you order.
Saturday delivery for shipped orders:
If you require Saturday delivery please let us know. There might be a surcharge depending on residential area - we will email you with more info if necessary.
UPS and USPS don’t pickup or deliver on National Holidays.
Shipping to Hawaii:
We can use only expedited shipping to Hawaii, which may entail an additional charge. If you place an order to Hawaii, we will email you to approve these costs before shipping your order.
Shipping to Alaska:
Might incur a surcharge - we will email you with more info if necessary.
Shipping to Canada:
If you’d like an order shipped to Canada, please place your order by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the following info:
- Items and quantity you’d like to order
- Your name, shipping address, and phone number.
We’ll reply as soon as possible with shipping cost and time in transit information, and to arrange payment for your order.
Other International Shipping:
We love sending our confections on an adventure. If you live outside the US, please email us at email@example.com and we'll ask the post office nicely if they’ll deliver to you for us.
Delays with shipping carriers and incorrect addresses:
