V-Day Vegan Chocolate Lava Cake (for two)

  • 2 Ramekins


  • ½ cup Gluten Free Plain Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ cup Silken tofu
  • 1 tablespoon Plant based milk
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Coffee Grounds
  • ⅓ cup Vegan Butter
  • ⅔ cup Fine & Raw Chocolate Bar
  • 2 tablespoon Fine & Raws Sweet Hazelnut Spread
  • Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream 


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°/ 350°F Gas mark 4. Grease your ramekins and dust them with cocoa powder around the sides to prevent it from sticking and set aside.
  2. Begin by sifting the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together.
  3. In a blender, blend together the tofu, milk, oil, sugar and coffee until smooth.
  4. In a saucepan heat together the chocolate and butter until completely melted.
  5. Mix the blended tofu mix and melted chocolate into the flour mix, and whisk until fully incorporated.
  6. Fill the ramekins ½ way, then top it with a tablespoon of Fine and Raw chocolate spread in each, then cover with the remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Serve with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy!
