Hazelnuts
We know what you're thinking: Am I dreaming? Why are these hazelnuts spreads the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of stumbling upon?
Not to gossip but… most hazelnut spreads don’t…actually…use? that? much? hazelnut? Don’t believe us?
If we could write a sonnet, we’d dedicate it to hazelnuts. They’re rich and creamy and high in fiber. We spend all day staring at them. Sometimes, we look up at the stars and think we see the hazelarus constellation shining down on us. Sorry, are we waxing poetic? We must be blissed out eating chocolate spread right now.
75% of the global hazelnut supply comes from Turkey: an industry that’s been criticized for poor working conditions, child labor, and human rights abuses. Gulp.
Our hazelnuts come direct from farmers in Oregon USA, many of whom are undergoing the lengthy process of organic certification.
